Coffee is good for your health as long as you drink it in moderation and buy the best coffee available, which is of course, organic!
Organic Coffee plantations use natural pesticides to treat the land. This helps save you and the planet! Coffee produced from conventional coffee plantations is normally one of the most chemically treated agricultural products on the planet. It’s widely known that pesticides and herbicides can cause all kinds of nasty diseases, so if you drink a lot of non-organic coffee you are not doing yourself any favors! Most coffee is grown in countries where there are little to no standards regulating the use of chemicals and pesticides on food. The United States produces and exports millions of tons of pesticides, some of which are so dangerous that they are illegal to use on American farmland. Foreign countries import these chemicals to cultivate food, which is sold back to the United States.
Organic coffee is full of vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants. Organically grown coffees, as opposed to conventionally grown don’t contain any chemicals or pesticides. They are grown in nutrient-rich soils, which add to its nutrient value. Conventionally grown coffee is grown with the use of fertilizers and pesticides, which are harmful for our health and the environment.
My favorite organic coffee is Rainforest Blend, https://www.gourmet-coffee.com/rainforest-blend-organic.html
