Lets make December a Wabi-sabi month!
Wabi-sabi is the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection and connect with nature.
Wabi stems from the root Wa, which refers to harmony, peace, tranquillity, and balance, free from greed, indolence, and anger; and an understanding of the wisdom of rocks and grasshoppers.
Sabi things carry the burden of their years with dignity and grace.
Wabi-sabi is about appreciating the simple and letting go of the superficial, is a state of mind: living modestly in the moment, stripping away the unnecessary, finding satisfaction in everyday things.
Wabi sabi's Buddist roots apply three simple realities: nothing lasts, nothing is finished and nothing is perfect. Ah so wonderful, nothing is perfect and still ALL is good:-)
Cardamom is the queen of spices, second only to black pepper- the king of spices, and one of the most valued spices in the world, I find Cardamom to be such a flavorful and uplifting spice, just from smelling it, I feel joy and happiness.
Cardamom also has a more hands-on approach, as it is effective in improving digestion and helps those suffering from stomach cramps. Cardamom also helps in cleansing the body with its detoxifying properties, and is known to be a good cure for weakness in general.
So sprinkle some extra onto your holiday cooking, or massage Peace & Sunshine Body Oil over your skin.
I went to Las Vegas for a birthday celebration, felt confused and dizzy from the weird energy, a sense that the town is like an upsidedown cake. Luckily I came across the most amazing crystals in the lobby of my hotel. It was surprising, thrilling and uplifting to find them there, and truly in a town which need A LOT of balancing. If you have time and would like to support Mother Earth, send some Love and Light to the ground below the town :)
