The list is long on what to avoid when it comes to body care, and it is surprising what can be found in products we buy to feel better.
Below are some ingredients to look out for;
Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) - are irritants and are found in most foaming products like shampoos, conditioners, body washes and toothpastes. They irritate eyes, skin, mucous membranes and can lead to direct damage to the hair follicle, skin damage, permanent eye damage in children and even liver toxicity.
Parabens - a toxic preservative found in cosmetics, toothpaste, and has been linked to cancer. The four main parabens are methyl, ethyl, propyl and putyl parabens.
Titanium Dioxide - a suspected caricinogen used as pigment and thickener for many cosmetic and skincare products. It is harmful to the environment, acidifies rivers and seas, and damages ecosystems i nature.
Formaldehyde - linked to cancer, triggers asthma, hazardous air pollutant, environmental toxin
Benzyl alcohol - strong neurotoxicant, causes liver damage, coma and death in animals.
Cetyl alcohol - can be of either animal or plant origin, skin and eye irritant in humans.
Isoparaffin - petroleum biproduct, environmental toxin.
Mineral oil (liquid petrolatum) - causes blood and skin cancer in animals, non biodegradable environmental toxin.
Tetrasodium EDTA - contains formaldehyde, most widespread poison to waterways.
Phthalates - called “plasticizers,” are a group of industrial chemicals used to make plastics like polyvinyl chloride (PVC) more flexible, and can also be found in nail polish, hair spray, perfume and shampoo. Phthalates have been found to disrupt the endocrine system,

www.ewg.com and www.safecosmetics.org have good info on this subject.
As we strolled down urban Lincoln Rd. in the midst of South beach this amazing tree appeared in front of us. Have no idea what kind, but breathtakingly beautiful and intriguing!
Locked in our chakras (energy centers located along the midline of the body), and in our cellular body are toxins which has been caused by broken relationships, the death of loved ones or due to the judgements of others, and these must be released or refined so that we can integrate the harmonious frequencies once more to be able to live and love in harmony.
When our Auric Field (the connector between emotions, our physical body and the Univers) has become foggy and congested with negative energy, life feels heavy. Our Auric Field is like a cloak that surrounds our Etheric / Astral Bodies, and it is either a cloak of Light or a shroud of negative, inharmonious energy. Through our thoughs, intentions and actions we are directors and creators of energy and our future.
Heal yourself with positive thoughts and actions, intentionally send healing to your ailing bodypart or emotion, or seek help from someone who is willing and able to help in refining and retuning your field of energy, or take a walk in Nature or a dip in the ocean
We all deserve to have a healthy auric field to feel peace, balance and contentment.
Green tea is not only lovely to drink it is also a great skin reviver. Whether applied topically or consumed as a beverage, green tea is a premiere skin protectant.
It protects against direct damage to the cell and moderates inflammation, according to research from the Department of Dermatology, Columbia University, New York. Studies suggest that the catechins in green tea are some 20 times stronger in their antioxidant powers than even vitamin E.
Green tea is one item we all benefit to incorporate into our daily routine. It is rich in antioxidants, is also thought by some scientists to reactivate dying skin cells. Green tea is high in vitamins C, D and K as well as riboflavin, zinc, calcium, magnesium and iron. Be sure to not add boiling water onto the tea, let the water sit for a few minutes as burning may give the tea an unpleasant bitter taste.
Used topically, Green Tea Extract protects the skin from UVA and UVB radiation.
Thanks to all its wonderful benefits I use Green Tea in TAMARINDO Face Mud, NECESSARY Face Parfait, BASILICUM Face Cleanser, YLANG Face Gel and USEFUL Face Toner.
"It is my belief that plants have manifested as one of this planet's foremost expressions of love. The clear vibration of love that radiates from plants is one of the fullest expressions of unconditional love ever witnessed." (James Green, The Herbal Medicine Makers handbook)
When there are herbs, fruits or vegetables to be dried, and there is a lack of sunshine or to much moist in the air, out comes the dehydrator.
A marvellous simple thing which will turn your goodies into nutrient bombs, instead of wasting them. Herbs and spices dry overnight. Banana chips and apple snacks dry in about a day.
Dehydrated fruits and veggies make great snacks, or can be used to top salads or in sauces and soups.
