Yesterday I spent some time in a salt room.
I have wished to do this for some time now,
as salt therapy brings a once inaccessible, natural,
healing element from the earth to us.
Giving you the same benefits as when you spend time
in the salty sea air, surrounded by health and mind promoting
negative ions, and yesterday I finally did.
The benefits of salt therapy are wide-ranging.
Salt levels affect our cell activity, energy and blood sugar levels.
A natural disinfectant, salt is antimicrobial, and antibacterial.
Rather than ingesting salt, you relax in the salt room,
breathing in misty salty vapors in hopes of clearing lungs and
purifying the skin.
As it was neither hot or cold in the room,
I took the opportunity to mediate for 20 minutes,
and the experience left me feeling very calm, clear and grounded.
For ultimate benefit I think I need to do it again.
